No. She's away, but the people she is with would have called me.

[It takes a few minutes before Shaw gets another reply]

The scout I sent her out with just called to inform me that she disappeared. They looked away and she was gone. As with Zam, no tracks, things left behind.

The others who were with her are unharmed. They said it was as if she was with them one moment then gone the next. I've advised them to return.

Did they look around for a body? She could have been left a short distance away.

They looked. They located supplies that she had been carrying, but no tracks or other evidence of a struggle, and no body.

She was travelling with an experienced scout on a predetermined route, to learn survival skills. I do not believe that he would have lost her or lied to me about it.

Less than a day out from the village. Not north. We chose the route for as much safety as it's possible to attempt in these situations.

The others that I knew well enough to guess, who disappeared, they might have tried to do everything on their own as you do. I think that Maddy would try to get to us first.
